Ender's Game becomes Movie

For all the Ender world fans out there, the great news is that Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game, an award winning novel, is being made into a movie by director Wolfgang Petersen. Orson is the screenwriter. For more information, click here.

The story: "With humanity under threat from an alien race, six-year-old Ender Wiggin leaves his family on Earth to journey to the Belt. There he enters Battle School and is strictly disciplined in mind games and mock battles. In instinct, compassion and genius he is unequalled, for his is a unique destiny".

Open Again

The library is open again for its normal hours, so come and browse through the new books and magazines. You will be able to borrow books again next year, so don't forget to write down in the Request Book, any titles that you would like to see in the library then.
